Smartlipo, the Smart Way to Body Sculpting

by on Mar.05, 2010, under Health and Beauty

Being beautiful has a price, and sometimes that price includes having treatments and procedures that will help achieve beauty in the areas that present more of a challenge for you personally. Sure, you are beautiful on the inside, but being just as beautiful on the outside may take some steps that you have to initiate yourself.

Take body sculpting for instance. Wouldn’t it be nice if your body would automatically conform to the way you want it? As you have aged, you may have noticed that your body has begun to sag in certain areas or developed some problem regions that have collected fatty deposits or become flabby.

Our medical spa offers a smart solution for getting those problem areas under control with Smartlipo Laser Body Sculpting. Usually when people think of liposuction, they may assume that it’s for overweight people. The truth is that regular liposuction, laser lipo and Smartlipo are both meant to help people who have lost just about all the weight they want to lose, tried other methods to sculpt and tone their body, and have seen little or no success in particular parts of their body.

Sometimes, fat can seem like it wants to hang on in one certain spot. Smartlipo Laser Body Sculpting is a great way to sculpt those areas and get rid of the fat that has been piling up there. Some of the most common areas people that struggle with include the arms, thighs, neck, jowls, abdomen, jaw line, breasts, love handles, and even those sags that develop under the eyes.

Smartlipo Laser Body Sculpting is not something that should be done to lose weight. It is a method to help get rid of problem areas and turn them into beautifully sculpted areas. When this procedure is performed, you may notice a very dramatic difference in your shape, your clothing size, and your self-esteem.

Smartlipo Laser Body Sculpting is done using local anesthesia, not general anesthesia, like regular liposuction would require. This is a much easier and less invasive procedure than traditional liposuction, and it will take less recovery time. Usually the recovery period requires a few days off work, and a week off from any regular workout program.

The results are noticeable within a couple of days, and will continue to become even more obvious as time passes for the next few months. Since the fat cells are actually taken out of your body with Smartlipo, your shape will conform to having less fat in the area. Your skin will also be tightened during the procedure, making the final look even more toned and sculpted than you might have hoped for.

Our medical spa specializes in customer satisfaction. Adding procedures that are less invasive, less painful, less expensive, and that require less recovery time, are important to us. Tattoo Removal at Laser Spas

by on Jan.24, 2010, under Health and Beauty

Tattoos have now become much more popular than they ever were. It’s actually getting to the point where it’s abnormal to find someone who has not been inked in one place on their body or another some spot. Unfortunately, many people get tattoos done when they’re not in the right frame of mind and wind up hating what they have on their body. There are only two ways to get rid of a tattoo: You can either cover it up, or you can look to laser hair removal procedures.

Covering a Tattoo

It is extremely common for people to head back to a tattoo parlor in order to cover up a tattoo that they regret getting. The problem with this, however, is that tattoos are not easy to cover up, especially if they’re fairly large or the ink is colorful or very dark. It takes an experienced and talented tattoo artist to cover up an existing tattoo, and odds are that if you look good enough in at the cover-up tattoo, you’ll still be able to see the original tattoo, making covering up the tattoo not a very good option

Thankfully, more and more doctors’ offices and laser spas are getting trained in how tattoo removal procedures and have the facilities to remove tattoos. Lasers can now be used to remove tattoos in a safe manner, allowing you to get rid of your ink and to have normal skin once again. But how does a laser get rid of the ink from your body?

When a laser is used on your body, it sends short pulses of intense light through the top layers of your skin. Technicians use the lasers to break up the tattoo pigment that is in the skin into small particles that can be gotten rid of by the immune system in the body. It is very similar to how laser hair removal is done, except instead of killing hair follicles, the technician is breaking down the ink in your system.

One thing to remember about tattoo removal is that it can be uncomfortable. While it’s generally not as uncomfortable as getting the original tattoo originally was, it is definitely uncomfortable painful enough to warrant taking a non-aspirin product before the procedure. It can take more than one treatment in order to fully get rid of the tattoo, but by the time the technician has completely treated the tattoo, there will be no trace of it left.
